What to Expect
Kick-Off & Foundations
We’ll begin with a kick-off session designed to help you feel oriented and supported from the start. Before our first meeting, you’ll receive a brief welcome packet to help you understand the structure of the intensive, what to expect, and how to prepare in a way that feels manageable—not overwhelming.
Flexible Session Options
Sessions are designed to be flexible and responsive to what you need during the wedding season. This may include individual sessions scheduled more frequently for short periods, spacing sessions out as things settle, or adjusting as different stressors arise. Some sessions may focus on insight and pattern-building, while others may feel more grounding and supportive as you navigate day-to-day stress.
Partner & Check-In Sessions
Optional partner check-ins or joint sessions can be incorporated when helpful. These sessions are not couples therapy, but can offer space to address communication, expectations, or stress related to the wedding process, with the goal of supporting you—not adding pressure or complexity.
You’re told that wedding season is “supposed” to feel magical…
Getting engaged is a meaningful milestone, but for many people, it also brings stress, pressure, and emotional overwhelm. You might notice yourself saying yes when you want to say no, struggling with family boundaries, feeling guilt around money, or worrying about how you’re “supposed” to look or feel on your wedding day.
You’re not alone. Weddings often activate old patterns like people-pleasing, perfectionism, family roles, and self-doubt. Therapy during this season can help you feel more grounded, present, and connected to your values…not just your to-do list.
